Global South Tech was the organizer of a Health Tech event on “AI, Health Tech and Social Innovation” at Impact Hub Accelerator in the Cambodian Capital 27 June. Susie A. Ruff was invited to speak in an international Health Tech panel on Social Innovation and Health Tech. Global South Tech is a global network with the aim of developing emerging tech communities and bring the right stakeholders together for the benefit of innovation and growth.
One of the panelists was impressive Limsan Pong, Cambodian female health tech leaderand CEO of First Womentech Asiawith a track record on development and implementation of Health Record System in Cambodian Healthcare. Limsan Pong has been nominated as one of Cambodia’s rising stars to keep an eye on.
The dynamic panel shared insights on startups, health tech and lesson learned in scaling start-ups. One of the points of discussion of the panel was the importance of focusing on users needs in Healthcare when you are a health tech company. On the other hand, deep tech companies targeting at healthcare also have a need to make a deep dive into technology. And hope that it can create a substantial value of the technogy to Healthcare.
The event attracted more than 100 Cambodian stakeholders within the tech community.
